Utah Open and the Special Olympics

I was asked to play in the Utah Open Special Olympics Short Game Challenge on Monday. We didn't get first place, we missed 3rd by 1 stroke. I played with a girl from northern Utah, her name was Ann. She has played in the Special Olympics for quite a long time. It was fun to joke with her. Every shot she took she said the same thing "I can't do this." Then she would hit a great shot. We shared a ton of high-fives, smiles and hugs.

The Zoo

Our last summer thing to do was the Zoo. I haven't been to the zoo in over 6 years. They have changes a lot of exhibits since then. Elle and MIllissa have gone during the school year as a field trip. Saige made sure the animal new she was there, and politely said good-bye to each and every one as we finished looking at them.
